POSITION SUMMARY The Admissions Data Analyst is responsible for the management, analysis, and presentation of admissions data as it pertains to applications, admissions decisions, territory effectiveness, yield, and recruitment efficiency. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Collects and analyzes admissions data on prospective student to determine appropriate strategic actions. Analyzes territory data for effectiveness and presents such data to key decision-makers. Formulates weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual data as it applies to admissions practices. Works with financial aid modeling company to best present data for financial aid evaluation purposes. Partners with the IT department to determine improvements to Admissions dashboards for management use. Participates as key member of management team to determine data needs and best practices. Assists with decisions around data integrity in current CRM for accurate future data. Evaluates budget spend to determine most efficient spend of recruitment dollars. Interacts with students, parents, and supporters through phone, email, text, and in person to guide and manage their advancement through the admissions funnel process as needed. Forms relationships and works strategically with other CIA departments who impact Admissions data. Manages operational and recruitment expenses to approved budget. Prepares and submit regular reports on status of accomplishments and activities. Any and all other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: Previous work experience in data evaluation and report-writing. Licenses / Certifications: Valid Driver's License with no more than 1 moving violation in the past year. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of experience in college admissions. Experience with Microsoft Access, Admissions Legacy, Colleague Admissions, Colleague Financial Aid, Recruit 2.0 and Recruit 5.2. REQUIRED SKILLS Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding oral presentation skills. Solid computer skills and ability to quickly learn new computer programs. Superior organizational skills including time management, ability to multi-task and demonstrate attention to detail. Ability to maintain appropriate follow-up and records of activity. WORKING CONDITIONS Must be able to lift 50 pounds of admissions recruitment material. Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
